Summer Youth Bus Pass is available now for all students (K-12) in SLO
County. The Summer Youth Bus Pass costs only $25 and is good on all
RTA, RTA-SCAT, SLO Transit, Atascadero Transit and PRCATs buses now
through Labor Day.. September is Try
Transit Month. Free transit service on RTA, RTA-SCAT,
SLO Transit, Atascadero Transit and Paso Robles Transit all month long. Just

Bike or Walk
Beyond the obvious benefits of
improving one’s health, biking or walking to work play an
important role in helping reduce parking problems, traffic
congestion and air pollution. The Surgeon General’s guidelines
for good health encourage everybody to exercise 30 minutes a day
so what better way to get your daily allotment of exercise than
to leave the car at home and walk or bike to work? Granted, not
everybody can bike or walk to work, but if the majority of
able-bodied commuters who live within 2 miles of their worksite
walked or rode their bike to work, we would see a significant
decrease in parking problems and traffic congestion in our
cities downtown cores.
